Weddings

If you think I'm the right photographer for you - that's great! I can't wait to hear from you.  You can get in touch through the enquiry form on the website, or by dropping me an email.

The key details that I need are the date of your wedding and the location. I love hearing all about your story and your plans. I'll get back to you asap and generally within 24 hours so if you don't hear from me in that time, check your spam/junk. 

The process page on this website sets out how and when I'll be in touch in the run up to your day - but I'm on hand if you have any questions for me in the run up. 

I’m based in Leeds but happy to travel across the UK. The majority of the weddings that I shoot are between Northumberland and South Yorkshire.

Your booking is secured once I have payment of a £200 non-refundable deposit.

The remaining balance is due four weeks before your big day. I'll send you all of the payment details if you decide to go ahead and book.

Some of my packages include a complimentary pre-wedding shoot, or this can be booked as an add on.

We can discuss your preferred location for the shoot - whether that is at your venue, or somewhere personal to you both.  We can also discuss the timing for your shoot- why not book it in a different season to your wedding for a totally different vibe? Book it early so you can use the images for your save the dates or guest book

In short, no but there are a lot of advantages to a second photographer: 

• They can capture different angles and moments on your wedding day - I can't be in two places at once and they are that second set of eyes (and lenses!)

• It ensures good coverage of both of you getting ready - particularly if you are getting ready in different places 

• All images will be edited and provided by me - so your gallery will have a consistent look, 

If you have a smaller wedding, you probably don't need a second photographer but the same advantages apply irrespective of the size of the wedding. My Sage package includes a second photographer as standard, or this can be added to any package. 

A meal for me (and the second photographer if you have one), is always welcomed. If a meal is not provided, that is absolutely fine, but please let me know ahead of time. This is particularly important if your venue is unable to provide additional meals - for example barn weddings which will only cater for the wedding / pre-booked guests - as we may need to leave to go and get food which could mean missing key parts of your day. 

This question does not have a set answer - a lot will depend on the package booked/hours of coverage and what is going on at your wedding.

A wedding with 8 hours coverage, that has garden games, singing waiters and lots of little details will result in more images than a wedding with 8 hours coverage but where guests go back to their rooms for two hours between the meal and the evening celebrations. I'm not suggesting that you have to book loads of expensive extras but we can only take pictures of the day as it is, and this will impact on the number of images that you receive. Rest assured that you will receive all usable, edited images from the day. 

I aim to deliver a sneak peek within a week (tops!) of your wedding. The full gallery will usually be delivered in six to eight weeks. 

This can be impacted by the time of your when your wedding takes place - and I will keep you updated on the editing timescales.

In short, no. I do not provide the unedited RAW images. You are booking me for my work which ultimately is the finished article, and my editing style is a massive part of that. If you want the images editing in a different way, I'm probably not the photographer for you.  You wouldn't book a cake maker, and ask for the individual ingredients - you want the finished article - the same applies to photographs.
